What happens when mankind creates a genetically enhanced race of humans, to use and abuse any way they please? Well, those slaves might just turn on their masters, and take over the planet, in the new science fiction drama,  The Chronicles of Hollow Earth: The Next Race.

A 300 year old war, between man and his "generic" offspring,  has devistated the surface, and now the Ghen rule the planet from below.

The Chronicles of Hollow Earth: The Next Race is a visionary scifi prequel from indie filmmaker, Stewart St. John, and StewdioMedia Entertainment, setting the groundwork for a unique trilogy, The Creation Wars saga. Man creates Ghen ... Ghen rules Man ... then, the real fun begins, as enslaved mankind begins to band together, and free itself from it's new Masters.

BEWARE THE WORLD WITHIN OUR OWN

In the beautiful underground cities of Hollow Earth, a ruthless dictator - Baron Crecilius Pryme, seeks to wipe out every last "unpure" human, slaving away in the factories above. On the surface, the remaining humans rally behind a mysterious woman, The Channeler, whose contact with the Kalendoah spirits inspire mankind to it's true destiny.

In the middle, the Baron's younger brother, Aiden, struggling between his loyalty to his brother, and the extinction of the entire race of Homo sapiens. And their mother, Hannalin, who carries the burden of a long-buried secret that threatens to divide the Pryme family, and perhaps the race of Ghen, itself:

  • Crecilius Pryme - Eric Scott Woods (Burial at Sea, Ghost Game, Millennium Man, and the TV series Charmed)
  • Aiden Pryme - Bailey Chase (currently very cool as Detective Butch Ada on TNT's Saving Grace, and played Graham in Buffy the Vampire Slayer series)
  • Hannalin Pryme - Pamela Clay (California Heaven, and lead singer of the band, Catahoula)
  • Channeler - Kristy Jean Huslander (Cutting Room)
  • Rielle Luminaire, Aiden's power hungry love interest - Catherine Lazo
  • Brother Wikstrom, Leader of the Ghen assassins, the "Ministers" - Matt O'Toole (TV series The Inside, Lost Junction, and man, this one takes me back awhile, the 1988 scifi series, Something is Out There)
  • Potentate XXXIV - veteran actor, Arthur Roberts (Midnight Movie, The Mummy's Kiss films, Hammerhead: Shark Frenzy, Gargoyle, Not of this Earth films, and Beyond Westworld tv series)

The DVD is available direct from the film's website, and I am looking forward to getting my sweaty lil paws on this rare gem. From the trailers, the film looks amazing for an independent release, and reminds me of the classic sci fi Dune saga:

Some of the cast are alumni of St. John's popular soap opera web series, California Heaven, that ran from 2005 through 2006:
